Visit by a delegation of the Republic of Yemen to the Patent Office of

the Cooperation Council 28/12/2009

       A delegation from the Republic of Yemen, represented by Mr. / slave Alhodaifi the Director General of Public Administration for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Prof. / Abdel Basset al-Bakri, Director of Patents and Industrial Designs, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Republic of Yemen visited the Patent Office of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf states as of 28/12/2009.

       The visit program included review of "avenues of cooperation between the GCC and Yemen" and "Intellectual Property, Republic of Yemen" and "Intellectual Property in the Gulf Cooperation Council".

      In addition to the "Statute of the Patent Office and the patent system to the Gulf Cooperation Council", and a detailed explanation of "the nature of the work of the Patent Office and administrative units", then the delegation after the field visit to the Patent Office building, where he listened to a detailed explanation of the heads of departments on the various activities and tasks undertaken by the Office.

       It should be noted that this visit comes within the framework of the implementation of the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States the establishment of a cooperative relationship between the GCC and Yemen in the field .

Patent exchange visits, training and exchange of invitations to the activities held by the other party such as symposia and workshops, and others.
