[54] METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DESIGNING AIRCRAFT
[57] Abstract: The invention relates to a method (10) and a system (1) for designing aircraft, in particular passenger aircraft and freight aircraft in the civil sector. The method according to the invention comprises the steps:a. defining an initial catalog of requirements for at least one aircraft design (step 11);b. carrying out optimization of the at least one aircraft design on the basis of the catalog of requirements in terms of the anticipated operating costs (step 13); c. simulating a predefined total flight network with the at least one aircraft design and determining the total flight network efficiency (step 18); d. checking whether the determined total flight network efficiency constitutes an optimum (step 19); if not:e. adapting the catalog of requirements (steps 19 and 12) and performing iteration starting from step (b).The system (1) according to the invention is designed to carry out this method (10).
