[57] Abstract: Provided is a seawater desalination method, which includes: a first step of subjecting biologically treated water to filtration treatment in a first reverse osmosis membrane device to obtain first permeate that is purified water and first concentrate, mixing the first concentrate as dilution water into seawater to obtain mixed water, and subjecting the mixed water to filtration treatment in a second reverse osmosis membrane device to obtain second permeate that is purified water and second concentrate; and a second step of supplying seawater to the first reverse osmosis membrane device to clean a reverse osmosis membrane of the first reverse osmosis membrane device.
