[54] SEAWATER DESALINATION APPARATUS
[57] Abstract: According to one embodiment, a seawater desalination apparatus, which separates seawater into fresh water and condensed seawater, includes a power recovery apparatus (1). The power recovery apparatus (1) includes an osmosis membrane (101), and is configured to recover energy from a water flow and utilize the energy, the water flow being caused to occur by putting the condensed seawater in contact with one surface of the osmosis membrane (101), putting seawater in contact with the other surface of the osmosis membrane (101), and causing the seawater to pass to a side of the condensed seawater.(FIG. 1)
