[54] PROCESS FOR PRODUCING HARDENED GRANULES FROM IRON-CONTAINING PARTICLES
[57] Abstract: When producing hardened granules from iron-containing particles, the iron-containing particles are mixed with at least one binder and water or an aqueous base to obtain a mix, the mix is formed to granules and subjected to a reduction with a supplied reducing agent. To produce stable granules with the same metallic iron content, mixing is effected such that first the iron-containing particles are mixed with the binder and subsequently water or an aqueous base is added.
