[57] Abstract: A method for regulating a multi-chamber furnace (1) said to have rotary fires or advancing fires for baking carbonaceous blocks (5), wherein the furnace comprises means (P3, P4, P5, P6, Pzpr) for directly or indirectly determining the heating pressure in the heating zone (B), the method comprising a step of regulating the preheating temperature (T1) to remain at a setpoint while maintaining the extraction flow rate (Q0) within a predetermined range around a setpoint value and while keeping the heating pressure below a minimum threshold value.
